My favorite watch, which was a birthday present from my folks last year, died on the plane on the way to SXSW. That was on March 12
th. My birthday is later this month, so I thought it was within reason that the battery died after a year. But when I took it to get a new battery this past weekend I was surprised to learn the battery was fine. Poop. So I need to take it back to the store with the assumption the warranty still covers it. Well of course I just dug up the receipt, which I miraculously kept, and it turns out they bought it on 3/19. So it died just short of a year, but I won’t be bringing it in til 4/6 (over a year). Will they believe me? Fossil website says 11 year limited warranty. Wish me luck.
